The 3-in-1 memory card reader by Chipfancier is made in PRC (china). This is a speedy card reader plugged into a Thunderbolt 4 port, where I get 985 MB/sec sequential reads and 840 MB/sec sequential writes with a name brand CFexpress type B card. The included cable does a good job of connecting the USB-C port on the reader to either a USB-C or USB-A port on the computer. The card reader has an aluminum body and it acts like a partial heat sink with some of my hotter running CFexpress cards. I think this is a good value for about $35, as it delivers fast speeds and is fairly consistent with multiple brands of cards. I consider this a good USB 3.2 Gen 2 device, even though the box mentions USB 4, because my USB4 laptop doesn't negotiate USB4 speeds. I connect via the UBC-C PC port on the side of the card reader. I have not needed to supply an additional 5 volts via the power connector. I did not find how or where on the included card that one would use this power connector. This is a well built reader for a good price.

4.0 out of 5 stars?Fast card reading, solid build, even has passthrough for extra connectivity.

I got this thinking it was a simple card reader with a nice chassis, but was surprised it even has passthrough ports for further connectivity. Despite the description saying it will support CF, Memory stick, and TF, this reader doesn't. They need to change that. It does support CF Express version 1 and 2, and SD though and the read speeds are fast. I was able to get some impressive speeds on both CF-B and UHS-II SD cards to a pc with USB 3.1. Sadly was not able to test it on USB 3.2 as my port has been acting up on the older Ryzen machine.

The card reader cfeA+sd can read at the same time, the speed is at least more than 300M/s (my hard disk can't be faster). And the three color lights can tell which one is reading and writing.

Reader works great. I don't do benchmarks, but it's quick enough transferring for me. It does get warm, so watch that. Also, I think you need to put the card in the reader and then connect reader to computer. You can't leave it attached to the computer and just insert/eject the card.
