Q: Your Gold CFA 4.0 is advertised to be so fast, is there any false labeling?
A: Gold CFA4.0 adopts PCle4.0 protocol, which doubles the bandwidth compared to the old CFA card, and together with the new master control and FLASH can run at higher frequency, so the performance is greatly improved. However, as of May '24, all cameras sold are PCIe 3.0 protocol, and can't utilize the full performance of PCle4.0. Our detailed data are all real-world tests, but please note that.
1:If you use an adapter card directly into the motherboard PCle4.0 slot test, the memory card will run on PCle4.0 so you can play the memory card maximum performance.
2:If you use Thunderbolt 4/USB4 card reader, you need to PCIe4.0 to USB, there may be 10% loss, the specific performance will vary according to the test platform.
3:If you use a normal USB3.1GEN2 card reader, the speed will not be fast because of the PCle3.0x1 to USB, the theoretical bandwidth of 984.6MB/S.
4: If it is inserted in the USB3.0/USB3.2 GEN1 interface, no matter what the speed of the card reader will be limited by the USB3.0 interface, the speed will not exceed 400MB / S. Q: Does the card reader support tablets and cell phones?

Q: Is the card reader universal? Can it use an XQD reader? Does it overheat?
