Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question ? We are here to help.
Q: Why are your SD memory cards so expensive? Is it necessary for me to buy them?
A:Firstly, this is a PSLCSD memory card, which makes its cost three times that of an ordinary memory card. Secondly, the performance of the PSLC mode is very strong, with stable data throughout the entire disk without speed reduction. At the same time, it has a long service life and can withstand high temperatures, and can better support high-speed continuous shooting and high-bitrate video recording.
What is the actual capacity displayed on the memory card in the camera? And what is the actual capacity displayed on the computer?
A:Taking 512G as an example, due to the difference in binary (1G = 1024M) and decimal (1G = 1000M) algorithms, there will be differences in capacity display. The camera and WINDOWS system use binary algorithms for display, so it will show 476GB, and MACOS uses decimal for display, so it will show 512GB.
Q: How does your product compare to other brands like Sony or SanDisk?
A: Sorry, we do not comment on competitors' products, as they are respected counterparts. We recommend purchasing our product for your own comparison. We offer a 7-day no-reason return policy, so if you are not satisfied with our product, you can return it.
Q:Can purchasing a memory card guarantee data recovery?
A: Sorry, we do not make such absolute guarantees. Although the overall failure rate of our memory cards is very low, we cannot guarantee that they will never encounter issues. Without being able to predict the exact cause of any potential problems, we cannot offer a 100% data recovery guarantee. However, if you do encounter such difficult issues, we will make every effort to attempt data recovery, and this service is provided free of charge.
Q: Are SD card readers universal? How to choose a card reader?
A: The card readers of other brands can theoretically be compatible with our memory cards in general, but it depends on the actual usage and cannot be guaranteed 100%. We will try our best to adapt to the common card readers on the market. It is recommended to choose a UHS-model card reader with relatively excellent speed.
Q: Does your V90 SD support high-bitrate shooting such as 4K 60P/120P in cameras?
A:Specifically, it depends on the requirements and limitations of the camera model for the memory card. V90 is the highest specification model of the SD card UHS-I. If your camera can only insert an SD card, then V90 can theoretically support all specifications of recording by the camera, such as 4K 120P of the ZVE-1. Please note that for some high-specification videos of Sony cameras, an SD memory card with V90 certification must be used.
Q: What is the actual speed on the computer? Is it as fast as advertised?
A: Actual speed can be affected by your computer's configuration and the files being copied, similar to how a sports car's speed is influenced by the type of road it’s on. Computer speed is a "bucket effect," where any limitations can become a bottleneck. For example, if you use a USB 2.0 port, even the best computer will only achieve speeds of around 20-30 MB/s. Similarly, if you’re copying from an HDD to a CFexpress card, even with a USB 3.0 connection, the speed will be limited by the HDD’s read speed.
Q: What brand is this? Is it made in China?
A: Our company has been selling enterprise-level and camera storage products since 2013, and started developing and launching solid-state USB drives in 2014. Our products use solutions from various regions in China, including ASMedia (Taiwan), SM (Taiwan), InnoGrit (Shanghai), and Phison (Taiwan). The flash memory is supplied by companies like Toshiba (Japan), SanDisk (Japan), and Micron (USA). Therefore, while we are a semiconductor design company based in China, our core components come from around the world.
Q: How is the product warranty handled?
A: CFexpress memory cards come with a lifetime warranty and have no write limit. Card readers come with a 1-year warranty. For qualit y issues within 30 days of the order, we will cover the round-trip shipping costs. After 30 days, shipping costs will be shared. Please note that issues caused by user actions such as disassembly, repair, bending, deformation, or water damage will void the warranty.
