The initial single-row SD card follows UHS-I, with one side having a single row of contacts, a simple early design. The double-row SD card is of gen 2 under UHS-II, its back's two close rows boost data channels.
Speed: UHS-I cards' theoretical speed is 10 - 50MB/s, insufficient for HD video shooting & large file transfer. UHS-II cards, with double rows and advanced tech, can reach 50 - 300MB/s theoretically. But actual speed depends on card grade, device compatibility and hardware.
Compatibility: UHS-II cards are backward compatible with UHS-I devices, but high-speed transmission cannot be enabled on such devices, which can only operate at the UHS-I rate; UHS-I devices are prone to compatibility problems when paired with UHS-II cards due to hardware limitations, and cannot take advantage of their high-speed performance.

Wide Compatibility
Compatible with a wide range of devices including personal computers, 4K/8K cameras, DSLR cameras, dash cams, drones, surveillance systems, and any equipment with an SD card slot or requiring high-speed data transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question ? We are here to help.
Q: Why are your SD memory cards so expensive? Is it necessary for me to buy them?
A:Firstly, this is a PSLCSD memory card, which makes its cost three times that of an ordinary memory card. Secondly, the performance of the PSLC mode is very strong, with stable data throughout the entire disk without speed reduction. At the same time, it has a long service life and can withstand high temperatures, and can better support high-speed continuous shooting and high-bitrate video recording.
Q: The V90 is so much more expensive than the V60, is its photo speed twice as fast when buying it?
A: No! Firstly, the V60 SD card, like the computer SSD, has Slc Cache speed. That is to say, the first few gigabytes of data will also have a speed of more than 200M, and the real speed later will drop very badly. For example, even if 100 RAWs are continuously shot, it is only about 5G of data, which will all fall within the Slc Cache range, so there will not be a significant difference in speed compared with the V90, but the difference may be reflected later if continuous shooting is continued. Secondly, no matter how hard the V90 tries, it is only an SD card and just a product of the old era, and its speed is only more than 200M, which is definitely not comparable to the CFEXPRESS card. Finally, some cameras themselves have very weak functions, and the bottleneck of continuous shooting performance is in the camera's processor itself, so no matter how good the SD card is used, there may not be a big improvement in continuous shooting speed.
Q: I just want to double the continuous shooting after switching to a V90 SD card, the slow speed must be a problem with your cards!
A: No matter whether you buy our V90 SD or V90 SD from other brands, as long as it is a truly V90-certified card, the speed is actually almost the same! It is probably around 270M. If you are currently using a relatively slow V30 SD card and replace it with a V90 SD, the continuous shooting speed may increase a lot. If the V30/V60 SD card you are currently using has a Slc Cache design and you want to replace it with a V90 SD to achieve a multiple increase in continuous shooting speed, this idea is unrealistic. My suggestion is to directly switch to a camera that supports CFEXPRESS cards, such as the A9III with an A card or the Z8, Z9, 1DX3 with a B card, so as to achieve a significant improvement in continuous shooting performance.
Q: Since it sounds not much different from V30 and V60, why buy a V90 SD? And why is it so expensive?
A: The main advantages of the V90 SD are reflected in 3 points:
The FLASH of the V90 SD card is produced in the PSLC mode, and its service life will be 10-20 times higher than that of the ordinary TLC/MLC mode. It has a wider working temperature range and a lower error rate and better data reliability in extreme environments. Of course, the production cost of the PSLC mode is three times that of the ordinary TLC mode, which leads to a high price.
The PSLC mode of the V90 SD card can bring stable speed throughout the entire disk, and can fully speed up to write the entire capacity of the card. It will not be like V30 and V60, where the speed in the SLC CACHE range is over 200M+, but then the speed drops to only a pitiful 30M or 50M.
Some cameras (especially Sony A6700, ZVE1, A7C2, etc.) strictly require the insertion of a V90-certified SD card to unlock the shooting of high-bitrate videos. Users of such cameras who want to shoot high-bitrate videos must buy a V90 SD card, otherwise many functions of the camera will not be unlocked.
Q: What is the actual speed on the computer? Is it as fast as advertised?
A: Actual speed can be affected by your computer's configuration and the files being copied, similar to how a sports car's speed is influenced by the type of road it’s on. Computer speed is a "bucket effect," where any limitations can become a bottleneck. For example, if you use a USB 2.0 port, even the best computer will only achieve speeds of around 20-30 MB/s. Similarly, if you’re copying from an HDD to a CFexpress card, even with a USB 3.0 connection, the speed will be limited by the HDD’s read speed.
Q: Does your V90 SD support high-bitrate shooting such as 4K 60P/120P in cameras?
A:Specifically, it depends on the requirements and limitations of the camera model for the memory card. V90 is the highest specification model of the SD card UHS-I. If your camera can only insert an SD card, then V90 can theoretically support all specifications of recording by the camera, such as 4K 120P of the ZVE-1. Please note that for some high-specification videos of Sony cameras, an SD memory card with V90 certification must be used.
Q: Are SD card readers universal? How to choose a card reader?
A: The card readers of other brands can theoretically be compatible with our memory cards in general, but it depends on the actual usage and cannot be guaranteed 100%. We will try our best to adapt to the common card readers on the market. It is recommended to choose a UHS-model card reader with relatively excellent speed.
Q:What is the actual capacity displayed on the memory card in the camera? And what is the actual capacity displayed on the computer?
A:Taking 512G as an example, due to the difference in binary (1G = 1024M) and decimal (1G = 1000M) algorithms, there will be differences in capacity display. The camera and WINDOWS system use binary algorithms for display, so it will show 476GB, and MACOS uses decimal for display, so it will show 512GB.
Q:Can purchasing a memory card guarantee data recovery?
A: Sorry, we do not make such absolute guarantees. Although the overall failure rate of our memory cards is very low, we cannot guarantee that they will never encounter issues. Without being able to predict the exact cause of any potential problems, we cannot offer a 100% data recovery guarantee. However, if you do encounter such difficult issues, we will make every effort to attempt data recovery, and this service is provided free of charge.
Q: How is the product warranty handled?
A: CFexpress memory cards come with a lifetime warranty and have no write limit. Card readers come with a 3-year warranty. For qualit y issues within 30 days of the order, we will cover the round-trip shipping costs. After 30 days, shipping costs will be shared. Please note that issues caused by user actions such as disassembly, repair, bending, deformation, or water damage will void the warranty.
Q: How does your product compare to other brands like Sony or SanDisk?
A: Sorry, we do not comment on competitors' products, as they are respected counterparts. We recommend purchasing our product for your own comparison. We offer a 7-day no-reason return policy, so if you are not satisfied with our product, you can return it.
Note
If you want to test the speed, please match the card reader that uses UHS II to maximize the performance.
(A small number of card readers may have compatibility issues resulting in inaccurate speeds)
